Lux Delux

Lux Delux is a "risk-like strategy game" that has been ported from Mac to iOS. The description sounds good but I've never played it myself, not having a Mac. Can we hope for our benevolent overlord's review in due time? :)

@ChrisNaur's mention of "risk-like strategy game" reminded me of Strategery. A very smooth and minimalist risk-like that's quick and easy to learn/play and tough to beat. The brutal setting is well named. Overall, nothing very new - just well done. There is a free "Lite" version. You know the drill - I got it, played it a lot, forgot it (until now).

It got the Macworld 2009 App Gem Best Strategy Game Award - but that says more about the awarding criteria than the game itself.

I'm so jaded about Risk-likes now. I haven't played one in years that I've enjoyed.
