Somebody pointed out that if you follow the "more games" button in the Fluxx app, the Penny Arcade game is the first one listed, and clicking it actually TRIES (but fails) to take you to the game in the app store. So my money's on that.

That seems to be the leading candidate. My heart belongs to Smash-Up, though; that one's going to be a blast.

What's worse? That you're referring to BGG's iOS games blog by NUMBER, or that I instantly recognize said number for what it is and suffer not even a millisecond of confusion?

Loving it already, but man, make sure you turn the game speed and animation sliders up to max if you've ever played before.

A buddy of mine got me a copy of the Penny Arcade deck builder for my birthday earlier this year. It doesn't deviate too much from the Dominion/Ascension school of deck building (though closer to Ascension), but it's pretty enjoyable. I think your enjoyment will directly correlate to how much you dig PA's brand of humor, but it's a nice little variation in theme (Videogames Vs. Fantasy) for the genre.

As far as Fluxx is concerned - Playdek delivered exactly what I expected. We play version 4.0 of Fluxx during our family game nights, so I was surprised to see this "streamlined" version sans Creepers and Meta Rules. But I don't think the core of the game is lost, and I think by jettisoning the Creepers, it'll help the online games move at a brisker pace. Very much recommended if you're looking for a light card game you don't have to take seriously.

Fluxx is good fun. While I enjoy playing several games online at once, I can't help but wonder why Playdek still hasn't implemented chat in their games. Racer Feud has it for Pete's sake!

Still, Playdek is like Pokemon. Gotta buy 'em all! Well, I see one game in that coming soon list I want no part of...
